Our outreach project

Members of St Andrew's visit the shops and businesses in our community to ask if they have any requests for prayers.

We pray for these people at our daily Quiet Space

This is a holy place. Men and women have prayed and worshipped on this site since about 1140. Today we have a variety of services designed to meet the needs of as many people as possible.

Sunday services
8am Holy Communion
Book of Common Prayer followed by breakfast on the first and third Sundays
10.30am Parish Communion
With music lead by our fine choir, activities for children, a crèche and prayer ministry after communion
6pm Evensong
A quiet, reflective service led by our fine choir

Baptism and weddings
Please make enquiries to the Parish Office.

We value liturgy and music greatly and seek to use it as a means of drawing closer to God

St Andrew’s has a long tradition of fine choral music – under the direction of Nick Burt, our mixed choir sings at our Parish Communion (10.30am) and Evensong (6pm) every Sunday.

To listen to our choir singing two different pieces, one by Nicholas Burt and for more about music at St Andrew's, visit the Music page
