Christian Life and Worship

Growing in faith at St Andrew's Rugby

Holy Space

St Andrew's is open Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm, Saturday 9.30am-2pm and for services on Sundays. We have a prayer board for prayer requests and candles are available to light. Often we don't know what to say to God, but lighting a candle is a simple act of hope and faith. You are welcome to come and sit and be quiet and pray in the church whenever it is open

Fellowship and Learning

As part of our pilgrim life members of our congregation take retreats or go on pilgrimage. Often these will be arranged by St Andrew's. In 2018 a group of 18 people went on pilgrimage to Rome, Florence and Assisi. All our events are advertised in our notice sheet to our regular congregations.

Breathing Space
A new group on Fridays at 12.15pm - 12.45pm.

It’s not a service, but a chance for people to come into church and find half an hour of peace.

There’s no sermon, no hymns and no collection. Anyone is welcome to come in and just sit and enjoy the calm. There will be a mixture of reflective music and quiet, and visitors will be able to light a candle for a loved one or write a prayer request for something on their mind, if they wish.
