Holy Space

St Andrew's is usually open Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm, Saturday 9.30am-2pm and for services on Sundays. We have a prayer board for prayer requests and candles are available to light. Often we don't know what to say to God, but lighting a candle is a simple act of hope and faith. You are welcome to come and sit and be quiet and pray in the church whenever it is open

Due to the current situation, the church is open on Friday 9.30am - 1pm and Saturday 9.30am - 12 noon

Monday to Friday Worship Services

Other study groups meet in people's homes.

Fellowship and Learning

As part of our pilgrim life members of our congregation take retreats or go on pilgrimage. Often these will be arranged by St Andrew's. In 2018 a group of 18 people went on pilgrimage to Rome, Florence and Assisi. All our events are advertised in our notice sheet to our regular congregations.

Breathing Space - currently suspended
A new group on Fridays at 12.15pm - 12.45pm.

It’s not a service, but a chance for people to come into church and find half an hour of peace.

There’s no sermon, no hymns and no collection. Anyone is welcome to come in and just sit and enjoy the calm. There will be a mixture of reflective music and quiet, and visitors will be able to light a candle for a loved one or write a prayer request for something on their mind, if they wish.

We are people, churches and organisations growing compassionate response to need, cultural and commercial activity and congregational life.

HeartEdge is about sharing, connecting, growing support and developing - finding new ways of being at the heart on the edge.
